M&T Economist offers positive outlook for 2010
BINGHAMTON, NY, February 2010: M&T Bank economist Gary D. Keith addressing the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce said there are a number of reasons to be confident in the regional economy going into 2010. Manufacturing companies are beginning to increase orders for goods and services, the Greater Binghamton residential real estate market remains solid especially against the rest of the country, and hiring demand should begin to pick up over the next six months.
